IMCA Global Summit 2026:
Raising Standards. Empowering People. Sustaining the Future

The Global Summit is IMCA’s flagship event and will bring together hundreds of business leaders, decision-makers, and technical experts from across the world to shape the future of the marine construction industry.

As well as addressing today’s technical challenges, Global Summit 2026 will chart a course for 2030, defining how IMCA Members will work together to advance technical excellence and global standardisation, champion a safe, skilled, and diverse workforce, and support sustainability and operational efficiency in line with IMCA’s new 2030 strategy, which will be unveiled at the two-day conference.

Through in-depth discussion and collaboration, the event will tackle the challenges and opportunities shaping offshore operations and will deliver actionable technical insights while addressing the sector’s current practical challenges.

Why attend?

Attendees will gain:

·       Awareness of current and future technical best practice,

·       The opportunity to influence the direction of new industry initiatives that raise performance, strengthen the workforce, and future-proof the offshore sector,

·       New relationships with peers, clients, and suppliers,

·       A strategic perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing offshore construction, and how IMCA is leading the industry’s response.

The programme will bring together our core operational pillars, starting with the trusted technical content that IMCA is known for across its core areas of expertise, including diving, dynamic positioning, ROV, survey, safety and security, and lifting and rigging.

Sessions on People will focus on mental health, skills, and IMCA initiatives to support early career professionals and attract the next generation to the offshore industry.

Advocacy discussion will provide an overview of the current regulatory landscape covering the IMO, EU, and UK decarbonisation frameworks as well as other regulatory fields within IMCA’s remit.

Sustainability will thread through the event, as we explore how IMCA can support Members to decarbonise and reduce their environmental impact.

Just like last year, our Membership Team will be available to discuss its future strategy and demonstrate how to make the most of participation with IMCA as well as provide the opportunity to provide feedback.

The IMCA Global Summit takes place at the unique venue ‘A Room with a ZOO’, in the heart of Antwerp, in Belgium. Delegates can take advantage of extensive networking opportunities over the two-day event and entertain guests at the Global Summit Gala Dinner and Awards on 28 October.
