Committee members include subject-matter experts and safety leads from a diverse range of companies, ensuring IMCA's Broad membership base is fully represented in committee discussions. Drawing on this shared pool of expertise allows IMCA to produce Information Notes and Guidance which are anchored in the realities of offshore working and operation.

Through its Sub-Committee, it explores Security issues such as threats to offshore crews, and proactively participates in a number of maritime security stakeholder groups and forums.
