Alongside the management of extensive Guidance covering many areas of offshore activity, it oversees tools such as IMCA’s Freelance Competence Assessment Portfolio. This enables those working in ROVs or Offshore Survey, where there is a high proportion of individual contractors and freelancers, to demonstrate their experience, skills, and competence.

It works with Members, operators/developers, suppliers, regulators, and specialist subject matter experts with an interest in the ongoing development of the offshore energy sector’s workforce.
