Slips and trips are common and preventable incidents.
The dangers can be caused by slippery decks and the need to clean up spillages fast, covering factors such as ensuring good lighting, and the importance of not rushing – particularly if the vessel is rolling or pitching in heavy seas.
To support IMCA Members to tackle this issue and discuss with their colleagues, we have produced an associated pocket card and poster.
