IMCA’s South America Regional Meeting returns to Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday 4 September 2024.
IMCA’s regular regional meetings bring our Members together to discuss industry issues, trends, and developments, explore the latest from IMCA’s technical teams, and offer a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the industry.
The agenda is still in development, but we can share that attendees will hear from Petrobras on Human and Organisational Performance (HOP), Siemens Energy on DP vessel hybridisation, Maersk on training and human factors, Fugro on GNSS positioning and Saipem on heavy lifting.
As with previous meetings, attendees will hear from IMCA’s technical team. Jennifer Evans, Technical Adviser – Marine and new South America lead at IMCA, will be in attendance, as will Richard Purser, Technical Adviser – Marine. Paulo Veronesi, Director for Client Engagement – South America is also attending.
The Regional Meeting takes place at a new venue for IMCA, the Rio Othon Palace in Rio de Janeiro. Places are free to anyone working for an IMCA Member; however, they are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
