About Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur is among the most visited cities in the world, driven by its cultural diversity, lively restaurants retail destinations, and competitive costs, and has become one of the fastest growing metropolitan locations in Southeast Asia.

As a key offshore energy location in Southeast Asia, Kuala Lumpur is the base for key industry players, as well as being home to training centres and research institutions. Building on its history as a centre for oil and gas development, the city has an emerging role in the energy transition, positioning itself at the heart of offshore renewable energy, including offshore wind and hydrogen development, as well as carbon capture and storage projects.
