Iain Grainger

Chief Executive

I personally wanted to let you know about our exciting Global Summit to be held in the picturesque and historic city of Utrecht, Netherlands on 3 and 4 December 2024.

With huge expectations to deliver the energy transition and increase energy security, our industry is facing a raft of challenges around Sustainability, Safety, and People.

Our two-day Summit has been designed to bring our industry together to explore these themes, share best practice, debate possible solutions, and chart a course to success, across an engaging and interactive programme mixing business and technical content.

Whether technical or business lead, delegates will be able to shape the future of IMCA, with the discussions on stage feeding into our strategy for 2025 and beyond.

Global Summit Keynote

Keynote speakers include:

  • Fredrik Ellekjaer of Rystad Energy Consultants who will present an energy market overview and the opportunities.
  • Dr Todd Conklin known as the “godfather” of Human and Operational Performance (HOP) who will share how his five principles can dramatically improve safety performance.
  • Dr Sally Uren OBE, the CEO of Forum for the Future, is leading the charge against climate change. She was listed in the Top 15 Sustainability Speakers on Climate Change and Corporate Responsibility.
  • Chris Lemons, the IMCA diver whose amazing fight for survival was captured in the Netflix documentary film, ‘The Last Breath.’
  • Oliver Ferriman of HSM who will present on the Workforce of the Future.

There will also be the opportunity to book meetings with our experts to gain feedback on any technical, safety, sustainability, or membership related questions that you may have.

Tickets are popular, and our recent events have been oversubscribed, so I urge you reserve your place now to avoid disappointment. Members can save more than £400 via the Early Bird Rate.

I am looking forward to seeing you and your colleagues in Utrecht!
