IMCA Golf Day 2009
The fifth annual IMCA golf day took place on 27 May 2009 at Newmachar Golf Course in Aberdeen, UK.
Some 70 players filled the course, with a shotgun start and 18-hole Stableford competition.
Martin McCaffrey of Helix Energy Solutions Group won the IMCA Quaich with 39 points, while the Poseidon Maritime Challenge Trophy for best team went to Proserv Offshore, with an aggregate 126 points. A particular highlight of the day was the competition's first 'hole in one', achieved by Kevin Black of Houlder Insurance Services on the ninth hole.
An array of individual, team, 'skins' and novelty prizes was shared among the competitors who reflected on this successful event and its regular good weather - another great day.
